James Herrold – Libertarian candidate for Lincoln City Council District 4 – finished second of three candidates in Tuesday’s primary election. With 1,673 votes (28.31%), he will move on to the general election on May 7th along with Democrat Tammy Ward.
James has been endorsed by the Lincoln Journal-Star along with the Lincoln Independent Business Owners’ Association, Councilman Roy Christensen, State Senator Mike Hilgers and former State Senator Laura Ebke.
This is an important victory for our party as it proves that, with a passionate, articulate and hard-working candidate like James, Libertarians can and will deliver positive messages to voters and earn the support of our communities.
